VIRGINIA GOT IN? THEY SCORED 50 OR FEWER IN 4 STRAIGHT GAMES N HTF DOES MICHIGAN STATE GET IN AT 19-14 AND 7TH IN THE BIG 10... THAT'S POLITICS THERE!!!
Pitt 2-6 vs tournament teams but do agree MSU should not be in there. St Johns has nothing on their resume to say they should be in.
Ohio St probably has the biggest argument about not being in. Wins over Bama, Purdue, Nebraska, Mich St but to be honest none of these teams have much of an argument.

The issue really is the better teams in each Conf. do not really care about the conf. tour. and we all know of cases where teams have lay down to rest up for Real Tour. And to me it sure looked like a bunch of games looked suspect. So CBS in their bracket show said 5 teams are in that would not be, so will use that number.
Only 3 teams in from BE and St.John in play in game, Marq. seems to be the one kicked out there but could be the injury to Oso not being confirmed to play that did that.We have seen ncaa take teams out after big player gets hurt end of year.

B-12 got their share along with SEC, but A&M 18-13 winning last 5 games before losing to Flo. in finals, they could of been booted imo. 8 SEC teams, think it was 8, seems a bit heavy but that is how the ncaa rolls, ACC, B10,SEC,B12, get those teams in first and fill in the rest.I had thought the BE had reached that level but maybe not and the Pac12 is broken so try again. Got to make money!!!
I think it's lame to say you are too good to play in the NIT. Every year there are teams that are on the bubble that get left out of the tournament. That's life. The NIT has a lot of great teams in it. Just show how good you are and go try and win the NIT and get the post tournament experience and try again next year to make the NCAA.
