Pittsburgh, Louisville, Villanova, West Virginia, St Johns, Cincinnati,

only teams to the sweet 16

big east tourney champs ... UCONN

surprise #11 seed ... marquette

out of 11 teams, LMAO!!!

 

 

why is the big east so horrible?

villanova should not have made it

same as georgetown, should have not made it

a lot of good big east teams allowed st johns win games they shouldnt have of, then gets smacked by gonzaga in the west!

cincinnati lost to uconn, so not a big deal

notre dame is not a neutral court team, they only win at home, thats why they are OVER RATED!!!

same with louisville, an over rated team cause they win at home!

west virginia plays tough but cant make a big shot

same as pittsburgh, who lost in big east tourney by 2, butler by 1, CHOKED!

this was a pathetic tournament by the over rated big east conference!

Who was going to replace Villanova and Georgetown in the tournament?  Northwestern and Iowa? 

This thread is dumb...that St. Johns team you mentioned beat Duke by 25.

Big East teams get fuked in the tournament because games are called differently in the tournament...example is Butler/Pitt.  Touch fouls aren't called in the Big East.  Officials allow the kids to play during BE regular season--VERY PHYSICAL. 

Another factor is BE teams are simply worn out by this time of the year.  There are no easy games from January-March.  UCONN finished 10th in the league standings for christ's sake. 

The Big East is the best conference in the country and the 2nd best isn't even close.  Your ignorance shines through on this post.

Lots of teams replace G-Town and Nova, maybe not from BigTen but there's 10 teams better than those two shit fuck teams.
