If UConn is such a terrible institution you should have never went there and don't give me any crap about being in-state. If I lived in Rhode Island you I would not go to URI for free.

UVA does have a terrible football team, UConn has been to a bowl the last three years and won the last two including a win over an SEC team. UConn is currently ranked 31st in country, UVA can not beat Division 1-AA teams, please do not compare the two.

If you have such a high morale standard why do not post about UNC, Alabama, and the thirty other schools dealing with NCAA violations and arrests. Your continued singling out of UConn just shows how sad you are and is especially pathetic considering you are an alumni.

STATEMENT FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT

Based on requests made for an extension by involved coaches named in the May 21 notice of allegations, the NCAA Committee on Infractions has granted a second extension to all parties to submit their response.

The original due date for response was August 20, which was initially extended to September 3 and has now been extended again to September 7.

Please note that the due date listed is the date that the responses must be received by the NCAA Committee on Infractions in Indianapolis. The documentation and materials will also then need to be reviewed, per State of Connecticut law, by the University Office of Audit, Compliance and Ethics in accordance with the requirements of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and its regulations, and the provisions of the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act under Conn. Gen. Stat. secs. 1-210(b) (11) and (17).

Due to the volume of material to be reviewed, the date of completion of that process is unknown at this time. Upon completion, a public release and media availability will be scheduled.

The University of Connecticut will have no further comment at this time.

Not knowing hte difference between being one of the front runners and front runners. Typical woop with no reading comprehension and just likes to go out of their way to attack people.

And they were one of the front runners. They got to the final 4 and unfortunately played a very good Spartans team in pretty much an away environment. 70k Spartan fans at that game and they played decent except for AJ being off and Hash picking up fouls that limited his playing time and effectiveness.

Never said Nate would get reinstated. He should have never been kicked out of school (since the allegations were false and subsequently everything was dropped against him) but maybe that was a blessing in disguise with the NCAA investigation.

Wiggins is not a criminal. He just liked to party too much and would get into bad situations. He got arrested for wandering into a wrong apartment and passing out on their couch. The girls who lived there saw a black male and called the police. When police got there he refused to show identification and got arrested. He has learned from his mistakes and is trying to right his life.

He's 23 years old and 2 years, atleast, from even being considered an NBA prospect. He most likely would have been fringe to not drafted if he had stayed and he is old for a draft pick.

He needed/needs to support his family so he is going to play professionally in Australia to make money and provide for his family. Good luck to him and I hope he gets a chance at playing in the NBA in the future.
