"Joston Thomas (Hawaii PF) is a monster! He just won WAC player of the week and scored 29 pts and had 12 rebounds against SJS."

"Hawaii can win the WAC! Beat Nevada tonite and they are one game out!"

Great stuff. I am sure the Nevada players have heard it too.

- Hawaii's SF Trevor Wiseman has been kicked off the team today. He played 27 minutes in the last meeting against Nevada. He is a high energy player, however, I do not think his loss is that big of a deal. Hauns Brereton has gotten more minutes lately anyway (probably reason why Wiseman acted up).

- Nevada coming off a loss? I actually was not surprised, Idaho is a good team (see my call on them to beat Fresno as a dog, one game too early). By all accounts, Nevada did play piss poor, I expect a bounce back effort.

- Joston Thomas off of a career game. Million dollar body, ten cent head. Right now, this kid's head has got to be exploding. I expect a few more turnovers and lame plays out of him tonite, as he holds the ball too long to bask in his glory.

- I agree, Vander is the best big man in the WAC. However, pretty sure Dario Hunt has a shred of pride and will score more than 1 point tonite, and put up a much better effort than last game.

Olek Czyz and Deonte Burton have historically torched Hawaii. I see no reason why they can't here.

I have Nevada coming off of a piss poor home loss...

Hawaii coming off a week of travelling, 3 road games, a WAC Player of the Week, a suspended player, and hype that they can win the WAC.

The better team with the only NBA player (Deonte Burton) gets the win tonite, in my humble opinion.

Nevada EVEN 1050 to win 1000

Been to almost every Nevada home game this year, and the past 2 games, at home mind you, have been ridiculous.  Not sure if they were letting the winning streak goto their head, but this team couldnt find the bottom of the basket to save their lives.  If it wasnt for a desperation 3 with 11 seconds left, they would have only had a 15 game steak goin.  They have had a couple days off to regroup, and i hope its what they needed to get over this recent speed bump. 

Cant argue with the play one bit, but im curious as to which UNR team shows up tonight.....the 16 streak Nevada, or the lousy offense who just lost to IDAHO at home!

I live in Reno too, and that's 3 straight bad games for UNR after the NMSt win.  Won by 2 at la tech, 1 at home vs ut st, then the idaho loss.  Nevada has lost the last two in hawaii.  Last I looked hawaii is now favored by 1.  Hope Nevada can regroup, but hawaii is a tough place to do it.  I'd have been all over hawaii if the UNR winning streak was still intact, but now I think it's best to lay off on this one - I'm hoping the loss will motivate them.  Tonight I'm just a fan.  GL.

Pretty much as capped, wish they all went this way.  Nevada probably led 34 of the 40 minutes of the game.

Nevada cannot shoot fts very well, pretty sure they missed about 15 of them, or else this game would have been a total blow out.

Nevada absolutely obliterated Hawaii on the boards, at one point leading 42 to 17 with 17 offensive rebounds!  Hawaii has never been man handled like this the entire season.  Season low is 30 rebounds, Hawaii also got 5 meaningless rebounds at the end of the game, so this stat is way worse than it looks.

Joston played sub par and made a bunch of bone headed plays.

Dario Hunt responded to all the criticism about being ass raped by Vander with a 15pt/15rebound game.

Hawaii shot extremely well though.

Hawaii is a very good team....they may make waves in the WAC Tourney.
