You may be on to something guys.  I sent an email to my book.  No scores have been changed on Covers/Yahoo to indicate a 7pt win.  He could have scored and had it waived off!?

makes no sense to me at all, i could see him tossing a half court 3 or something but a 2 pt jumper...WTF...Y in the fuk would he even shoot in the first place if the other team is pretty much concieding the game and not pressing or tryuing to get a steal? there was no time on the clock for shits sake...

the site i was watching play by play said it was final 68-63
no time then all of a sudden it said 70-63
but i look at the play by play and it says the guy for ohio got his shot blocked with no time left and it also says the guy for st marys hits a shot with no time

i saw exactly what u saw madness06, there were multiple plays with no time on the clock....WTF....im fukin perplexed and need an explination from someone who say it go down.

According to the official play by play chart, it would be impossible for that last shot to go in an count, if the play by play time log is true.
 
I have emailed my book and general manager to have the wager regraded due to supporting conflic with the final score.  According to the official college basketball house rules for my book, THERE IS NO OFFICIAL STANDARD SITE USED TO DETERMINE FINAL SCORES.
 
ONLY NBA.COM IS USED AS AN OFFICIAL SITE FOR NBA GAMES AND NBA PROPS.
 
However, when CBB games are considered, there is no official site used.  Therefore, I emailed my book supporting scores from yahoo and covers to support my request to regrade or completely cancel the best.
 
I'm waiting to here a reply from my book................

Covers, Yahoo still say otherwise.  Perhaps it was waived off?

Only real way to find out is to contact the official NCAA office pertaining to CBB and find out if that last shot counted and what the NCAA has in it's official log.
 
The tape needs to be reviwed over the last 5 seconds for sure.

St. Mary's put all there games on podcasts... so hopefully they oput it up tomorrow and we can know what really happened

The St Marys homepage has 70-63 and also mentions Simpson dunked the ball with 3 seconds left

Some of you geniuses ever consider that the play by play on the internet sites isn't completely accurate when it pertains to the time that plays actually happen?
 
And then there is the guy that complains to his book about conflicting scores.  Ever think that the books go by the actual score and not the one on whatever.com?  That is hilarious.  I bet the GM at your book was laughing his ass off at that one.

Actually dillweed, I woke up this morning and got an email and they credited my account.  I guess it pays to have a good relationship with the GM.

Don't be so quick to assume that books are always right!

So you mean to tell me, that because you have a special relationship with the GM of your book, that they credited back a losing bet to your account just because a few whatever.coms didn't have the score right?  I am throwing the BS flag on that one.

Please let me know who you play with so I can join up.  I want to be able to call up and whine about a losing bet and get it credited back to my account.  What, do points scored with under 5 seconds left just not count? 

Just admit it, you lost the bet on a fluke play.  No reason to lie about it and act like it didn't happen.

Went back and listened to the podcast.... and the guy did dunk it with less than a second left.

One of the worst losses i've ever had to take... just cause of the uncertainty of it.
 
 
Oh well.... today was another day.    And I lost again on  another tough beat... took pistons.rockets under 46 1Q... 19-19 with 25 seconds left and they score 9 points in the last 24 seconds.
 
 
 
I guess I'm due for a good run.
