no....refs should not matter and i don't think that i have ever seen a correlation that is statistically significant where they do

nope....if i had concern i wouldn't bet it....can't be a winning gambler and be concerned about line movement....IT IS WHAT IT IS..... could go either way but i am fine with my money on butler.... i don't have MLs on my overnight lines so i just took the spread... we shall see....close game either way

i like fsu, however they haven't played great with a lead down the stretch in their last few games... i think they win but can't lay 10 points with what i have seen

The days of mid major Butler are over! They're a big east team now. Laying one point on them against utah here seems too good to be true. Utah lost all their senior playmakers from last year and is projected to be a middle of the road pac 12 team. My coworker went to Utah and is a big Ute/NCAAB fan, and he couldn't believe the spread was basically a pick em either.

i know they are in the big east...i meant perception of them being a midmajor is not reality. perception is everything in linemaking/gambling

kenpom ratings are probably most important BUT I mainly look at teams I've watched and have at least a feel for THEN I take into account other factors like you mentioned, mainly their talent, experience, coaching offense they run, matchup, size and rebounding.

Pederson isn't utah number 1 in rebounds per game and Butler like 338 or something though? Possibly 1 area of the game that utah has been better at? Or just bad competition?

yea, there is a big discrepancy there. butler is experienced and i'll take that any day over boards...plus they just beat a very tall and good rebounding arizona team... i'll take experience and battle-tested any day...it may win, it may lose, but i am comfortable with my pick

and utah has played 4 garbage teams with riverside at #246 nationally kenpom ranking being the best....c'mon man......keep that in mind when it comes to statistics......

Hey pederson I know you don't post nfl bets,but wanted to ask your thoughts for my last leg of my parlay. I have eagles minus 3 bought it down when early line came out. It pays out 796. I don't usually like to hedge but I do at times. Any thoughts on eagles overall let it ride or hedge guaranteed profit. Thanks for any feedback

nfl is the biggest crapshoot of any but i already did make a play on the eagles -4 actually...so that's my recommendation...but 796 is not much to me, if it is to you then hedge
