College BBall is almost here! A close 2nd to CFB for me as a viewer but clearly CBB is my best sport capping year in and out. These plays are all the futures I have so far.  I think DUKE is head and shoulders above everyone else this year so clearly I am making solid plays on them for the ACC Conf Title and Nat'l Title.  I think 'Cuse will be formidable and could catch lightning in a bottle like years past and potentially make a run so I played a flyer on them.  I'll update as I make plays and we get closer to next Friday.  Cheers all and G'Luck.

* these were placed with my local; Duke is now +300 and Cuse is +2850

** I use a 2 locals and BetDSI, for reference regarding my lines and plays; local max bet is 2k, DSI max bets are much higher depending on game and conference for CBB

Really liking Duke that much? Should be a very solid team but not really some good value and never know how the team will mesh together. Did you have any futures last year? Tailed someone with a lot on Michigan State, Kansas and another team not sure if it was you. 

BOL and will have to look into Duke some more

I don't believe I posted any plays last year.... haven't posted much in last 3-4 years, was a regular on here daily prior to that for a handful of years.  I'll try to get back to posting CBB this year regularly.  I did have a future on MSU last year but again, don't believe I posted any plays.  I think you can go back and check my posting history if you're so inclined.

Can I ask how you've done the past year with futures? Thinking about tailing every single one so just a little curious. Like them all, but don't know much about SMU and Iowa State. Was liking Indiana to take the Big Ten, any reasoning for Mich state? Had Mich state in a huge future and they broke my heart

You know I'm a huge Sparty and Izzo fan but Bucky Badger is taking down the Big 10 crown this year.  All 5 starters returning and Gard gets the whole season at the helm. They will be a tough out in the dance per usual. Love Duke at even for acc.

I make $ on them historically....BUT it's your money and past results are not indicative of future performance!!

also, 500$ for me is nothing, so if it's a lot to you, then maybe play $50....they are long shots so that's why i played them small.   I think Duke is head and shoulders above everyone else even with their 3 starters banged up....they'll cruise this year in my opinion.... iowa state always has the O, let's see if they play D....conversely, SMU has the D and big men, let's see if they can continue great guard play......syracuse is just a shot in the dark because Boeheim seems to get them playing great in march and they can catch lightning in a bottle in one game scenarios vs teams that don't see their D zone.

added oregon for pac 12 ... just too much offense here... don't know what pac 12 team will challenge them, everybody else is just so young.... i know Az will be good and UCLA and WASH have great freshmen but I just feel AZ disappoints each year.... plus this will give me a good squad to root for all year in the PAC 12 being that I am in CA and watch this conference more than any other..

starting small to get a feel for these teams, lots of variables in the first few weeks, tread lightly....usually I'll buy the hook if it's a game that will be close and may come down to a free throw...I know the math of the whole 'long term it doesn't make sense' argument, but I really don't care...it makes me feel better and I make money in CBB.. also if the spread is around a pick, i'll play pk for the fav or take the pts for the dog....and if i play a few bucket dog, i'll usually play the spread and then the ml for a fraction of the main bet and post that too but won't count the ml as a separate play,  only the $...just a little strategy and accounting talk... i have 3 locals and also play at betdsi and betonline, which i advise you all to do as well since lines do vary points and juice...good luck all
