Big guy on Citadel is absolutely awful. He's missed 3 point blank layups in the second half and thrown a ball directly out of bounds when he had the ball in the middle of the lane 3 feet from the basket. And Samford is beating Citadel to every loose ball. Even when Citadel gets a hand on a ball, Samford beats them to the floor and grabs it. Gonna be a tough road.

Both teams offense consists of passing around the 3-pt. arc until shot clock gets down and then fire up a three, hope for an offensive board to clean up the garbage if they miss.

Down 4 at under 8 mark but Samford shooting 2 FTs when they return. The one kid on Citadel (#22?) is very unselfish but he's obviously the best player on the team. I really wish he'd attack the basket more because he's obviously their most skilled player. Here's hoping.

I would like to take credit for #22 going on a personal 8-0 run after I encouraged him to shoot more. Lead could've went to 5 but Citadel missed a 3.

#22 extends his run to 10-0 before Samford answers. Citadel up 2 with the ball with 3:10 left coming out of TO after Samford bangs a 3.
