Are you using the term Regression correctly here?

I believe that it is often misunderstood. It doesn’t mean that after a hot streak you will go on a cold streak. It means that you will go on a streak of closer to 50-50 outcomes, meaning that your 24-6 streak will turn into a 34-16 spell. Thus it regresses to the mean overall but does not suggest you go cold after a hot streak

Correctamundos!  Does not mean I will go on a cold streak (although this often happens anyway) ....but for me means the HOT STREAK is OVER and my expectation is more losses than wins (over X number of future bets) in order for such an incredibly high (read: lucky) rate of wins to level out to a much lower yet still above average number.  So, basically, what you said an_2drinks
