For example,
on REGRESSION SUNDAY my 8 posted losers were:

       ... against just 6 winners

Then, from Monday through Thursday, only 4 losers:
Merrimack +3.5 -115
Toledo -4.5 -120
Toledo -210
Dayton -140
        ... against 24 winners

So then it comes down to how one wishes to evaluate results.
In this particular small sample size, 12 losers totalling -2060 vs 30 winners.

 If we evaluate using the common
"Internet Fair Scoring Standard for Comparing Records"
(ie, as if every pick is scored as if to win one unit only - regardless the unit attachment "claimed")

then that 5-day result would be scored as +9.4 units.

Or +45.2 units if every pick is to win 5 units!
Or +90.4 units if every pick is to win 10 units!!! 

Pick your fancy! LOL

That's just on a 5 day stretch, which includes my worst day of March.

I do lose the occasional bet of -290 to -500, sure. Occasionally. But I win significantly more than lose in that range and show a profit.

Thankfully, as previously stated, when I anticipate regression time that's when I slash my bet sizes to reduce anticipated losses. Didn't lose much this time, but the "high win rate" plummeted from a 24 - 4 run, as expected. Ironically, all four of my low cost spread bets (3 dogs) FAILED! I profit much better with moneylines (ie, just assessing the likely game winner)

Yesterday's regression could have been a whole lot worse! Initially I had circled and was very seriously considering betting: Kentucky, Grand Canyon, Charlotte, Virginia, and Tarleton....all favs with better records!!....3 of them high juice on ML! But my spidy senses reminded me of "looming regression" so I backed off those five

.....And 4 of those 5 lost

With regression day now over, Saturday resumes normal bet sizes...
