Curious if anyone knows something significant about why TCU is favored over KSU tonight....
KSU+2 has the slightly better record, including against simialr BIG 12 teams, and it appears as if the only injury of note is that LAMPKIN is out for TCU...
PLUS the gamesite is less than 2 hr drive for KSU+2 fans.......11 hrs for TCU-2 fans

This is a conference 4 - 17 bottom dweller squad facing a ranked 15 - 5 XAVIER team.
The weakass team can't possibly sustain70% shooting from the floor or anywhere remotely close to that.......XAVIER should bounce back bigly in 2H.....probably a run and gun deal and the odds will catch up to DePaul....
....or.....a major fluke upset happens............they do from time to time.....
In my lifetime I've NEVER seen a weakass team shoot over 67% and upset a ranked team before..... NOT 67%

Xavier looks to be shooting very well....BUT....not a shred of defense!!!
Everytime weakass 4 win DePaul gets the ball they waltz in and score almost unopposed!!!

And DePaul is hitting an *UNBELIEVABLE* 67%
The game is still close - 6 pts - but without defense, they'll just trade buckets and lose by 6
when do you start looking at the clock or when do you anticipate the “better” team to make their move? I ask because Xavier was down by 8 with about 12 to play and was on the + side s/u. With that much time, I would think Xavier still has plenty of time for the regression to the mean to occur. Does time remaining ever come into consideration or are you relying on flow of the game or other variables - fouls, FG%, etc.

But in Xavier's case, also the fact they *should* have greater talent/kill and likely to play better.
Down 8 with 12 to play would be a good *IF* they had momentum and a displayed ability to play defense.
