Sparty playing giveaway with the ball on offense. As someone who watches MSU regularly they are at their best when they move and share the ball. That's not happening today. They need to create for open outside looks because they have no inside threat on offense. This is why I hate betting on them because perimeter first teams are inconsistent and create heart palpitations for the saps like me who bet on them.

Can't win playing that way unless getting big time lucky....and can't rely on luck either....
Metrics not there for SPARTY today. Unable to score from the arc.
The gameplan without inside presence normally is to have the top FT shooting guards repeatedly drive the ball in the paint and draw fouls, but they aren't doing that either....

Once again another team with a DREADFUL losing conference record will advance to the semifinals ......and this one despite missing their all everything top player.......
Why?
Because SPARTY, who average 40% from the arc, went stone cold early and gave up a DD lead to a weaker team.
Just hitting their averages and they would be leading right now.....There will be no miracle comeback in this one.
LUCKY OSU that SPARTY went cold ....
