CBC Saturday:
My computer indicates this, so here we go:
West Va. -126 @FD *BB
It also suggests a thin edge to WVA going OVER their tt but I'm going to pass...
87 - 70 *BB WINNER!

LEANS, why do you post these? I have seen at various times you count them towards your W/L record and then times you dont.
My first question is when does a LEAN become a bet. I cannot figure this out.

Yep, they did well for themselves with their VERY FORTUNATE opportunity gained from the DUKE game...
Nevertheless, I hope Alex Karaban has an excellent game in the final. Classy senior with a real shot to achieve 3 national championships!

WOW! Wolverines decide they are better off risking further aggravation to their top player's injured ankle and they put him back in the game despite a huge DD lead -most of which was gained WITHOUT HIM.

But one thing I learned a long time ago, which frequently presents itself every season: when one team seeming has an easy go of it (Michigan) and their upcoming opponent had a tougher game against a struggling opponent let alone just being LUCKY to be there in the first place - the age old wisdom "if it looks too good to be true _______ " comes into my focus. Thus I will not jump to conclusions believing what happened today for each team will repeat itself in the next......All too frequently the exact opposite of expectation occurs....
I especially need to to know Lindeborg's status prior to gametime...
They did perform exceptionally well w/o him for most of the game, yes. But he's their TOP PLAYER and that result was thus unusual, and if he is out again or severely hampered, I would not expect a duplicate performance...
I'm in no rush...

To that point, ARIZONA is an example....they had a terrific win over a very good PURDUE team then flopped unexpectedly tonight...after a LOT of money had been bet on them to move their status from +1.5 dog to -1.5 fav.........then unexpected FAILURE! ![]()
