I am on the Stampeders to win straight-up....very high on the Stamps this year and down on the Bombers. 

Ottawa announced that Maier will start at qb.....I will be very surprised if that lasts more than 3 games.....Maier has the delicious combination of being a statue and the tendency to  throw the ball to the wrong team.

Also like the Elks to be a pointspread darling this season,....if they're underdogs to the Redblacks it shows the low opinion the bookmakers have of them.

Both lines I've bet are moving that way.....in truth I got the Elks +3.5 at -120....expecting the Elks to win 9 games this season.

Well, I am glad that week is over....first two games were remarkably similar...home teams goes out to a big lead and then go into brain cramp mode....I would tell my team "our goal is to be up 9+ points going into the last 3 minutes".....those that say "we'll go up by a field goal and then rely on our defense in the last three minutes" are doomed to failure in the CFL.
