Hey everyone! Massive week for me last week up 13.8U. Looking forward to the always fun Labour Day.
BC @ Montreal (-3.5) - So here is my process for the week: I saw BC +6.5 on open and I thought fully healthy, BC could win outright so I took it. Now fast forward to the first day of practice and Davis Alexander doesn't practice, and the Als sign Caleb Evans. Maas blows it off and now Davis is participating, but I can't help but feel like there's a bit of a game being played here. They don't need to play Davis, and with his injury history, why risk it? I'm going to continue to monitor but BC is a smash if he is out, as well as the under.
Bets: BC +6.5 (-120) (large)
Lean: Under without Davis, over with Davis. Must monitor for injury news.
Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan(-4.5) - Another week where I'm going to say the same thing - Saskatchewan is supremely banged up. That said, they should still be a favourite over Winnipeg as they are they most unreliable team in the league. Huge let down spot for the Bombers too after a shocking outright win. I would probably make this 3, but I'm not running to back the Bombers.
Toronto @ Hamilton (+3.5) - I missed this opening as a pick which rightfully got slammed up to where we are now. I've been a Hamilton believer and I will continue to watch this number. Hamilton is a tough place to go play, and this is a rivalry game. I personally don't really care who starts at QB at this point, but I think it will be Frost. You could talk me into a under here, but for now it's a wait and see if we get a better number on the Ti-Cats.
Edmonton @ Calgary (+1.5) - We still aren't getting much word on the status of VA for this week, although I suspect he will play. I think this is a great spot for the Elks though, coming off bye and having all the time to prepare for Calgary. I took +1.5 on open, which I do still like, but I hope to come back on Calgary at some point. I also like the under here. Edmonton with a good defence, Calgary with one due for positive regression. I believe this rivalry game has gone under 55 in 7 straight if I am right there too. But also check the forecast - 35-45mm of rain Sunday with 15-20mm on Monday with gusty winds. I think this is a low scoring defensive battle that will probably come down to the last possession.
Bets: Edmonton +1.5 (-110), Under 58.5 (-110)
Leans: Dedrick Mills rushing over (no props available yet this week)

Freezing game live today!! Under was looking fantastic but didn’t get there. Last second TD blew the SGP by .5 too… thankfully I was great live betting today. Had Elks +14.5, +8.5, +3.5, and ML which saved me. SGP would’ve been nice though.
