CFL Pre-Season Week 2 OTT@MTL

Pre-Season 1-0 / +1.00 Units.

Already I like MTL in this matchup.  This is a H/H series.  Next week in OTT.  

Davis Alexander won’t see much action.  The reason I like MTL here is because of Dustin Crum & James Morgan.

Crum was traded to MTL from OTT & Morgan has more playing time over Max Dugan who rode the pines for TOR last season.

If MTL losses this game I will back them again next week in OTT.

It does depend on the spread but still I like MTL Friday night in “La Bell” Province.

Let's see, these 2 teams will play each other in week 4 (OTT@MTL) with each team playing on 7 full days of rest.  Week 9 (MTL@OTT) where MTL will be playing on 4 days of rest & OTT playing on 11 days of rest, that's 7 full days of extra rest for OTT.  Finally in week 12 (OTT@MTL) where OTT will be playing on 5 days of rest with MTL playing on 11 days of rest, that's 6 full days of extra rest for MTL.

Week 9 & 12 will be kinda like another H/H series, with the home teams getting the extra rest advantage.  They will not face each other for the rest of the 2026 season.

Ottawa depth chart out but still waiting on Als

I believe, for the first time in my lifetime, teams will have their benches on opposite sides of the field @ Percival Molson Stadium.  No more same sideline shenanigans late in the season, lol.  Too bad.

Ottawa with a new head coach, staff, players, tough situation to be in.  Ott does have some success in MTL over the years.

I still like MTL here.  Probably going to be -3,5
