EDITOR'S NOTE: As of 4 p.m ET on March 16, Thursday's Premier League Darts in Newcastle has been called off.
Most sporting betting events have been postponed or cancelled across the globe due to COVID-19, but darts has continued despite the coronavirus outbreak.
Premier League Darts is scheduled for Newcastle this Thursday, after matches in Liverpool last week. And unlike other leagues which have implemented a ban on fans, the PDC will continue to have thousands in attendance for events.
The immediate future of the sport, especially outside the U.K., is still murky with the Premier League of darts double-header in Rotterdam already rescheduled from the end of March to September, but for now darts provides one of the few wagering opportunities for sports bettors.
