Week 11 in the CFL is headlined by a showdown between the first-place Saskatchewan Roughriders and the East-leading Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday.
Saskatchewan won 28-23 when these teams clashed in Hamilton two months ago and my Tiger-Cats vs. Roughriders predictions are betting on the Riders to win again. Here are my best free CFL picks for this marquee matchup on August 16.

My Tiger-Cats vs Roughriders pick: Roughriders -2.5 (-130 at BET99)
Both teams have dynamic aerial attacks with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats led by MOP front-runner Bo Levi Mitchell, and Trevor Harris under center for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
However, the Riders have the more balanced offense thanks to A.J. Ouellette, who helps them churn out 110.5 yards per game on the ground. The Ticats are one-dimensional, ranking second-last in the league in rushing yards per game (75.0) and yards per rush (4.2).
On other side of the ball, Saskatchewan has more pass rush juice (22 sacks to Hamilton's 13) and is significantly better against the run — allowing the second-fewest yards per rush (4.5), while the Ticats allow the most (5.5).
The strength of the Ticats defense has been their secondary. However, they could be vulnerable in that area with Stavros Katsantonis (the highest-graded safety in the league per PFF) and CB Jamal Peters questionable after missing practice all week.
The Riders are also fresh off a bye and will have home-field advantage, which is another reason to like them here. That said, I'd prefer paying the extra juice to get the spread under that key number of 3.

Money has come in on the Over, moving the total from 52.5 to 54.5, but I'm going against the line movement.
We have a quarterback duel between Mitchell (who leads the CFL with 2,856 passing yards) and Harris (league-best pass efficiency of 119.7). That said, both QBs were productive in the Week 2 clash between these teams, and that game still went below the total.
Keep in mind that these defenses do a great job of keeping things in front of them. The Riders have allowed the fewest big plays in the CFL (15) while the Ticats have given up the second-fewest completions of 30+ yards (10).
Both teams are also missing their star returners with Hamilton's Isaiah Wooden and Saskatchewan's Mario Alford sidelined by injuries.
