My Lions vs Redblacks pick: Over 54.5 (-110 at BET99)
The BC Lions are coming off a loss to the Argos, but even in that defeat, they managed to roll up 442 yards of offense and 34 points.
That was the fifth time in their last six games that they dropped at least 32 points. With Nathan Rourke airing it out to a loaded WR corps and James Butler rushing for a league-high 868 yards, BC's attack is tough to gameplan against.
The Leos rank first in the CFL in touchdowns (32), yards per play (7.69), yards per game (428.5), and second-down conversion rate (54.8%). They also lead the league in big plays and first downs, which shows they can either rip off big gains or methodically move down the field.
Meanwhile, the Ottawa Redblacks have surrendered at least 30 points in four of their last five contests. The only game during that span where they played well on defense came against Calgary, when the Stamps had backup P.J. Walker at QB.
That said, the Leos have also struggled on defense and have allowed more than 30 points in four of their last five. They are second-last in the league in opponent pass efficiency (109.6) and rushing yards allowed per game (107.2).
With Dru Brown ruled out for another game, Ottawa will have Dustin Crum under center again. Crum is a capable backup who completed 23 of 29 passes for 277 yards with another 59 yards on the ground last week. He'll do his part to send this game Over the total.

Early money came in on the visitors, moving the line from Lions -3.5 all the way to -7 last night. Buyback at that key number has brough the spread back down to -5.5, which is decent value for a BC squad that will thrive if this game becomes a shootout.
Expect this game to have plenty of points, and the Lions will do most of that damage. Crum is solid but he's not the downfield passer that Brown is. Ottawa won't have the offensive firepower to keep up with BC's high-octane attack.
