Caroline Dubois is in a position to be a standout fighter, and the lightweight champion will have her chance to put her best foot forward against Camila Panatta on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua undercard on December 19.

Dubois is a -3000 favorite while Panatta is a +890 underdog, and my Dubois vs. Panatta predictions don't see much chance of an upset.

Dubois vs Panatta prediction and pick

Fight analysis
Caroline Dubois has demonstrated the potential to make some noise at lightweight, and she hasn’t even entered her prime.

Dubois has grown from a decorated amateur into one of the cleanest technicians in the women’s ranks, and she’s starting to develop the kind of mean streak that separates good fighters from future champions.

She can put her punches together, create offense organically, and hit hard. Every fight now feels like another step in the long game toward global stardom.

Dubois works behind a piston jab that is central to her game. She has rapid-fire hooks and a blunt straight that keeps opponents off balance and can put them on the floor, not to mention she’s showing excellent footwork and is always in great position to land big shots.

She doesn’t chase knockouts but creates them through accumulation and precision. Her shots come fast and hit their mark, and Dubois has scored multiple knockdowns over the last six fights.

There isn’t much Camilla Panatta can do here. Survival might be the most likely choice, particularly because she doesn’t have the firepower to give Dubois pause and won’t be able to disrupt her footwork.

While Panatta can always try to maul Dubois and hope to pressure her against the ropes, the speedier Dubois will make her pay for coming at her in a straight line.

Panatta will show heart, but she’s outgunned in every category against the prodigious champion.

Best best analysis
For lack of any available odds, Dubois straight up will have to be the pick. I’d keep an eye on Dubois by decision should the odds come up closer to fight night.
