Tyson Fury, showing a lack of commitment to retirement that would put Michael Jordan to shame, reportedly has had several fights in the works over the past months.

Despite his recent loss to Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua appeared to be next up to challenge the world's greatest, as the two had reportedly agreed to a December 3 matchup.

Reports about the fight's validity didn't stop major books from posting Fury vs. Joshua odds, but as of the first week of October, those odds are OTB at most outlets after Joshua didn't agree to terms within Fury's deadline.

How to read boxing odds

The most common way of betting on a boxing match is by picking the overall winner of the bout. With Fury being the favorite for this fight, his odds have the minus sign (-) in front of them at -400. This means that bettors would need to wager $400 in order to win $100. A Joshua win would pay out more as he's the underdog at +290. This means that a $100 wager would profit $290.

As we get closer to the fight date, other prop bets will become available, such as method of victory and round betting.

The odds listed above are in American format, but can easily be converted to decimal or fractional format via our odds converter tool.
