West Virginia passed a state law to legalize sports betting in March 2018 and it became active when PASPA was struck down in May 2018. The West Virginia Lottery Commission then put in place rules and regulations and the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races took in West Virginia’s first sports bet on Aug. 30, 2018.

The Greenbrier has partnered with FanDuel to bring posh sports betting to its famed private casino. The sportsbook, like the rest of the casino, is open to members and hotel guests only, and you’ll need a jacket (men) or dress (women) if you’re entering after 7 p.m.
