When they face Marquette and giving points on the road, will be my largest wager of the season...

That's a little harsh,there's plenty of shitty ranked teams that are far worse than VILLA.

As a capper I know what you are talking about, however this team in all polls is 3rd through 5th...I will bury Marquette if everything stays the same...They are not a top 10 team...This will be a team I fade vs top teams and I hope you do the same to make some profit..They allow too may teams get too the hoop and shoot free throws...When they play Marquette please wager against em...

Pennsylvania Big 5 matchups are usually tough, no matter who is ranked or not ranked, who is having a good year, down year, etc.

just some regional info...

I understand interstate rivals, however Nova is pushing uncharted territory being ranked 3rd when all mathematical polls have them well outside that number...In my opinion of course

they are overrated....they shoot too many 3s and a good team with size should dominate them....kinda like Temple in the 2nd h...

they're diabolical if they hit their shots, but I could see people fading them considering how out of control they play.

Every time someone loses a bet they act like this.  Villanova is far from the worst team in the top 20.  Temple is an NCAA team, they were home, they shot lights out.  This happens.  Move on and stop being a b*tch.  Nova lost 10 games last yr - they went to the Final Four.

This is exactly why I hate this team and why I have faded them so much over the years but I always get caught with them shooting lights out. I wanted to play Temple so bad today but I thought again Nova would fuck me shooting lights out.

agreed. they will go far in the tournament this year again despite people saying they aren't worth a top spot

They went to the Final Four last year and were undefeated, that's why they were ranked #3.  

I agree, I'm not a big fan of their style.  However, I like their style better than some other up and down small ball teams because they actually play some D and rebound.  They beat teams like Ole Miss and Maryland this year and Duke and ND last year because they guard and defend better than other small teams.

But yeah they struggle against some big physical teams halfcourt teams.  One example is 0-3 against GTown the last 2 years.  All in all I respect their style because they've won in the NCAAs with it.

Point is, stop spewing stop BS about "this team sucks, that game was fixed", yada yada no one likes a whiner.  Man up.  Teams are gonna lose games to lesser opponents on the road.  It happens EVERY NIGHT.

Gordon, cuz, it's DECEMBER.  December man.  Not to mention, it's a Big 5 game, and it's teams like Temple's and LaSalle's biggest non-conference game of the year.  Right now 'Nova is finding themselves in the front court.  It's awfully tough to recover when you lose TWO significant pieces including Dante obviously.  With that said, development is only a couple games away for this team.

There is a reason why BCS teams go non-conference before conference play.  You need to develop and find your pace before the most important games of the season starts.  A loss to Temple in December for 'Nova means absolutly nothing in the grand scheme of things.  Maybe it will mean something if 'Nova falls apart and needs a strong key win/key loss ratio in the Tournament, but March doesn't care about non-conference losses to A-10 teams when you are a 20+ winner and finish above .500 in your conference.

I had 'Nova today too, and I thought they looked awfully bad on the offensive end, but it happens.  Nonetheless, whether anybody likes it or not, you'll see once Big East play starts that Villanova has every right and deserves every vote to be in the top ten.

Marquette sucks even more to be honest ...
Their performance against a below-average NC State team the other day was at least as appalling ...

I can't believe rzagaz showed up after this game when I didn't see him for a couple days after Joes didn't get "blown out" . At least you stuck around this time, nice job, way to man up

1st off, there is no way they are th eworst in the Top 25.

Wash, A&M, Vandy. Miss is also in 1 poll, they beat them.

Next, they got beat by their own game. Fernandez shot 7-9 from 3pt. Next, I can't believe they only shot 11 FT. That is un heard of from a jay Wright team. Thye are in the Puke level of shooting more than the other team takes, which Temple did to them.

As I said, I found it funny that no one thought this line was a lil wierd, when everyone didn't even blink when they were laying +15 and up to Joes. Its a BIg 5 game, on the road, not even in the Palestra. If you guys don't really take those # into account of your HCA, you will never get these games right. As Drizz, I mean Pitt said, this IS THEIR TOURNEY GAME!!! type of play. beat the Big guy, Nova who even now has only lost 2 of their last 23 played in this series.

There frosh Big Man has Hep B, don't even know if he comes back. Thats huge.

You can fade this team GG, but I don't think its a better move. I do think it really helps them get brought back to Earth. Now that everyone thinks Cuse is a Final 4 team, watch how they play against them.
