giants getting a lil pat on the back before game time... cowboys have to sit on the other sideline and watch this all happen to the team that kept them out of the playoffs... I see it being a close game but I think cowboys 1H might be a solid play here. Leaning to the cowboys for the game too.. major revenge factor here mixed with a lil hangover.

I think the rain will have moved out by kickoff. It did rain all day yesterday really hard and there is supposed to be some showers today so depending on how well the field drains it could be pretty saturated and a little slow.

This thread is missing a little breakabookie.... So here i go....
Witten a proven giant killer will not be playing
Huge mismatch giants dline vs cowboys oline....
Dome team outside in the wet elements edge new york football giants
I would be surprised if the defending champs lost this football game but a tony romo backdoor cover is certainly possible....
Im taking the giants moneyline in a very low-scoring affair
Good luck to all!

Interesting Stat I heard this morning on ESPN. The defending Super Bowl champion has not lost it's home opener since the 1999 Denver Broncos (1st game without Elway as QB). Take it for what it's worth but that would not make me want to take Dallas.

The cowboys didn't look that good in preseason. Yes I know it's preseason. Giants looked very good. Giants should win by a TD Giants -4

DAL @ NYG -3.5:-4 OU 45.5
Dallas has receiver injuries, with M Austin (both hamstrings), D. Bryant (R knee tendinitis) both not playing in preseason.(Could they be just playing possum?)
J. Witten (lacerated spleen 8/15) is so questionable they had to release their 3rd QB to make room for waivers pick up C Cochart from CIN. Sorry S McGee, it's just business.
On the other hand Giants corner P Amukamara is hurt (ankle) and backup M. Coe will play for Amukamara. Look for DAL to work on Coe. T Thomas is out for another season and C Webster is the other corner for NYG.
My biggest concern is the refs, and it's not about missed calls.
It's that they will probably call the game even since they don't have the finesse to shade the game yet, and they don't want to mess up.
Without the refs home field advantage DAL could win, but Cruz, Nicks, Manning should be able to put more pts up.
Taking NYG -4

It's field turf so everyone mentioning the wet field can forget about it.
Tony Romo is one of the best if not the best QB's under duress.
I feel like a 6 point tease looks really good here:
Dallas +10 Over 39
Final: 24 - 23 Giants

DALLAS 21- GIANTS 24 I think is the WORST case scenario for Dallas, otherwise I think Dal could actually pull an upset here. I hate Dallas, I'm just banking on some good ol fashioned statistics.

this has been the only game Dallas has thought about since last year's final game loss - they have done nothing but add tools/weapons to counter the giants attack
i find it hard to believe that they let the giants come in and manhandle them again. even if GMen win they do so by a very slim margin
