Switzerland vs Qatar parlay
The Swiss are heavy -500 favorites in one of the higher-projected scoring matches of the opening week. Qatar struggled away from home during qualification, conceding multiple goals in eight of their last nine matches.
I'm happy to double-dip on the top two Swiss scoring options with Breel Embolo (-125) and Dan Ndoye (+162). Switzerland's four qualification victories came by a combined score of 13-1, with each win coming by multiple goals.
These two also found the scoresheet together in a 4-3 loss to Germany back in March. If Switzerland puts up another multi-goal performance, there is a good chance these are the two names involved.

Brazil vs Morocco parlay
There is some Over and BTTS appeal in this matchup, and I'll happily take a goalscorer from each side. Brazil conceded 17 goals across 18 qualification matches, so this is anything but a tight, defensive group.
Nothing fancy with Vinicius Jr. (+162), who led Brazil in xG during qualification and remains one of the most dangerous attackers in the tournament.
On the Moroccan side, Brahim Diaz (+450) stands out because of his role and potential penalty-taking duties. He could have a more secure path to goal involvement than some of the other Moroccan forwards, making him the preferred option at the current price.

Scotland vs Haiti parlay
Scotland closed qualification hitting both the Over 2.5 and BTTS in four straight games before securing their World Cup spot. There is enough BTTS potential here to back a scorer on both sides, as opposed to doubling up on Scotland, and I have to take a Scot named Scott.
Scott McTominay (+125) scored in two of Scotland's final three qualifiers and enters the tournament as the betting favorite to lead his nation in goals.
On the Haitian side, Duckens Nazon (+400) is the clear choice: He led Haiti in both goals and xG during qualification and is also the betting favorite to finish as their top scorer.

Turkey vs Australia parlay
This is another strong spot to take a goalscorer on both sides, with BTTS YES sitting at just -105, one of the shorter prices for that market during the group stage.
Mohamed Toure (+300) leads a talented group of young Australian attackers with high ceilings, and while the starting roles are not fully cemented, he's tied for the shortest goalscorer price among the group for a reason.
Kenan Yildiz (+200) is my preferred Turkish scorer: He was one of only two Turkish attackers to score 3+ goals during qualification while posting an xG above 1.0. There is also some uncertainty surrounding Kerem Aktürkoğlu's role, which only strengthens Yildiz's case as Turkey's top attacking option.
