Canada vs Bosnia goal scorer prediction: Jonathan David

Jonathan David is the centerpiece of Canada's attack and offers excellent value at +180 to score anytime. The Juventus striker is Canada's all-time leading scorer, takes penalty duties, and has been involved in more than a third of the country's goals across its last two major tournaments.
The matchup is favorable as well. Bosnia's aggressive defensive approach often leaves space behind the back line, and David has the versatility to exploit it. Whether he's making runs in behind, drifting into pockets of space, or linking play around the penalty area, he presents problems that Bosnia's defense has struggled to handle.
If Canada is going to open its World Cup campaign with three points, there's a good chance David plays a starring role.

USA vs Paraguay goal scorer prediction: Folarin Balogun

Folarin Balogun scored the winning goal in that 2-1 friendly win last fall with a clinical finish following a cutback from Gio Reyna.
Now he will have the likes of Pulisic, Tillman, and McKennie feeding him passes from the outset. His movement in the box is the best of any American striker, and he thrives at operating on the back shoulder of defenders.
That makes him a terrific option against Paraguay’s mid-block, as he’ll be able to pick out pockets of space into which Pulisic & Co. will provide him service.
He’s a co-favorite with Pulisic to score, but I expect Paraguay to focus heavily on the winger. That provides value on Balogun, and I’d play him to score up to +175.
