With six straight losses, the Dallas Wings have dropped to the bottom of the WNBA standings, and they’re understandably massive underdogs tonight against the Atlanta Dream.

Atlanta needs to keep winning to lock in homecourt advantage for the playoffs, and my Wings vs. Dream predictions see the hosts running wild in this one, particularly with Dallas’ lengthy injury report.

Wings vs Dream predictions

My Wings vs Dream best bet: Dream -15.5 (-110 at FanDuel)

It’s been a grim stretch for the Dallas Wings, who are just 1-9 in their last 10 games, and this huge spread speaks to the uphill task they face tonight against a motivated Atlanta Dream roster.

The Dream are coming off a tough loss to the Las Vegas Aces in midweek, dropping out of the No. 2 seed in the process, and Dallas could be walking into a backlash. With the Wings missing Arike Ogunbowale, several other rotation cogs, and possibly Paige Bueckers too, I’m laying the points with the hosts.

Atlanta is 7-2-1 ATS in its last 10 outings, with Allisha Gray raising her game to help the Dream navigate Jordin Canada’s absence, as well as Brionna Jones and Naz Hillmon dominating the paint.

In contrast, the visitors are 1-4 ATS in their past five games, and they were held to 60 points last week by the Seattle Storm.

Three of the hosts’ last four wins have come by a double-digit margin, and I expect their superior depth to power an early lead that steadily grows over the course of four quarters. The Dream have aspirations of a WNBA Finals trip this season, and this is a chance to flex their muscles against a weak opponent.

Paige Bueckers pick: Ms. Glass

My Paige Bueckers best bet: Over 3.5 rebounds (-136 at FanDuel)

Bueckers is listed as questionable and missed Dallas’ loss to the Connecticut Sun earlier this week due to illness, but the Wings will hope to have her back on the court tonight, especially with so many of her teammates also on the injury report.

Despite Dallas’ struggles, Bueckers has continued to make an impact all over the box score, and I’m taking the Over on 3.5 boards for the standout rookie.

Paige has finished with 4+ rebounds in six of her past nine outings, including nine boards against the New York Liberty earlier this month, and she’s reached this mark in two of her three clashes with the Dream this year.

The Wings’ depleted roster is pushing all available players into heavy minutes, and it could ignite the visitors in transition if Bueckers starts possessions by cleaning the glass.

Wings vs Dream same-game parlay (SGP)

Dream -15.5

Paige Bueckers Over 3.5 rebounds

Naz Hillmon Over 6.5 rebounds

Hillmon has been a steady rebounder all year, but she’s hit another level this month, capped by 15 boards on Wednesday against the Las Vegas Aces

I love the Over on 6.5 rebounds tonight — that’s a number she’s gone past in nine of her 11 outings in August, and Hillmon should have the edge over a Dallas frontcourt that’s paper-thin after injuries to Li Yueru and Luisa Geiselsoder
