The Dallas Wings will try to complete a season series sweep on Wednesday when they host the Connecticut Sun.

In this battle of teams already eliminated from the postseason, it’s Connecticut playing its best ball of the year, having won four of its last six.

Our Sun vs. Wings predictions and WNBA picks believe that a suddenly solid Connecticut defense will keep this Under the total.

Sun vs Wings predictions

My Sun vs Wings best betUnder 162.5 points (-110 at bet365)

The Connecticut Sun have been out of it for a while, but this recent run has seen them drag at least one team down with them.

A home-and-home sweep of the Washington Mystics surely helped put an end to their playoff hopes.

Most recently, they took the defending champs to the wire, before dropping an 81-79 decision to the New York Liberty.

The Sun’s recent upswing has been attributed to a defense that currently ranks second in points allowed (75.2) in the last six games.

They’ll get a chance to get on the board against a Dallas Wings team that’s handled them twice, most recently an 86-83 win on June 20.

Dallas is not firing on any cylinders, staggering home with just a win over the last 11 games. They’re bleeding points, allowing 89.9 points during that stretch, which ranks 12th in the WNBA.

Even then, I don’t think the Sun can run up the score. They’ve scored 80 or less in three of their last four wins.

Assuming their defense stays solid against a Dallas side that isn’t touching 80 points per game on their current skid, this one should come in just Under the total.

Paige Bueckers pick: Getting Back On Track

My Paige Bueckers best bet: Paige Bueckers Over 18.5 points (-125 at bet365)

Paige Bueckers has been struggling lately, totaling just 20 points over the last games after dropping an historic 44 against LA.

She’s also questionable Wednesday as she’s battling an illness. If she is a go, Dallas might just be the get-right opponent for her, as she’s scored 21 in each of the previous two meetings.

Monitor her progress, but if she plays, I’d suggest banging the Over.

Sun vs Wings same-game parlay (SGP)

Under 162.5 points

Paige Bueckers Over 18.5 points

Tina Charles Over 15.5 points

Tina Charles has been solid over the last five games for the Sun, going for 21 or more three times.

She’s also had big scoring games against the Wings, averaging 26.5 points in the previous two matchups, making that 15.5 scoring line really gettable for her.
