Yo-yoing between wins and losses in their last seven, the Seattle Storm will try for back-to-back wins for the first time in nearly three weeks when they visit the Washington Mystics.

Our Storm vs. Mystics predictions and WNBA picks have the visitors sending the home team to a third straight loss.

Storm vs Mystics predictions

My Storm vs Mystics best betStorm -3.5 (-114 at FanDuel)

The Seattle Storm are coming off their third-highest scoring game of the season as they smacked around the Chicago Sky 95-57.

It’s the first time in three games the Storm has crossed the 70-point mark, which included a 74-69 loss to the Washington Mystics on July 13.

Since that win, Washington went on to get swept in a home-and-home set with the L.A. Sparks, allowing better than 93 points each game.

On the year, the Mystics are eighth in points allowed, at 80.9 points per game. Seattle boasts one of the league’s top scoring defenses, allowing just 77.6 points per contest.

If the Storm’s offense can keep any semblance of offensive flow that they showed last game – shooting a scorching 53.6% from the field and 45% from 3-point range – they should be able to snap a two-game losing slide to Washington.

Storm vs Mystics same-game parlay (SGP)

Storm -3.5

Skylar Diggins Over 15.5 points

Brittney Sykes Over 14.5 points

Perhaps the All-Star break was the recharge that Storm guard Skylar Diggins needed.

After three straight games scoring less than 15 points (including 10 against Washington) then missing the last game to Dallas for personal reasons, Diggins went off for 21 points on 7-for-14 shooting in the win over Chicago.

I like her to stay hot against a porous Washington defense.

For the Mystics, Brittney Sykes also has a generous 14.5 scoring line for Saturday, a figure she’s topped in three of the last four, including a game-high 19 in a win over Seattle.
