Expert WNBA moneyline picks for July 17

Storm vs Fever: Indiana Fever (-128)

Fever win probability: 77%

The Indiana Fever face a struggling, rebuilding Seattle Storm team that has slumped to a 6-20 record. Seattle has been historically bad on the road (2-12) and struggles to score, ranking near the bottom of the league in offensive rating.

Meanwhile, Indiana boasts a top-five net rating and a high-powered offense led by Caitlin Clark (who's a game-time decision tonight) and Kelsey Mitchell. Having already beaten Seattle by double digits earlier this season, the Fever at home are the safest bet on the board.

Dream vs Tempo: Atlanta Dream (-127)

Dream win probability: 79%

The Atlanta Dream has already handled the expansion Toronto Tempo twice this season, winning by 25 and 7 points. Tonight, Toronto is severely shorthanded, missing star guard Brittney Sykes (20.1 PPG) and Kiki Rice.

Without their core backcourt, the Tempo will struggle against Atlanta’s defense. Powered by Rhyne Howard and rebounding machine Angel Reese (11.8 RPG), the Dream's deep, healthy roster should easily control the paint, dominate the boards, and secure a decisive, comfortable road victory in Toronto.

Sparks vs Sky: Los Angeles Sparks (+108)

Sparks win probability: 48%

Just last week, the Los Angeles Sparks dominated the Chicago Sky in a 102-87 blowout, torching their defense with 51% shooting from the field and hitting 14 three-pointers.

Led by a dominant veteran frontcourt of Nneka Ogwumike and Dearica Hamby, the Sparks have the size and scoring depth to control the paint.

With Chicago struggling heavily to find consistent perimeter shooting and missing key backcourt depth, expect the Sparks to secure another decisive, high-scoring victory on the road tonight.

Sun vs Mercury: Phoenix Mercury (+178)

Mercury win probability: 63%

Emotional revenge may drive the narrative of tonight's matchup between the Connecticut Sun visiting the Phoenix Mercury.

While both teams are navigating tough stretches, the Sun have been a dismal road team this season, severely limited by a major roster overhaul.

Tonight features an intense personal matchup: former Sun anchor Alyssa Thomas now leads the Mercury. Thomas has historically dominated her former squad, averaging nearly a triple-double against them last year.

With Phoenix desperate to snap a losing skid, their highly cohesive offense and home crowd will successfully disrupt Connecticut’s erratic perimeter defense for a crucial win.
