The Minnesota Lynx are a flawless 11-0 at home this season, but they’ve dropped four of their last six contests on their travels, and that road form will be tested tonight as they face the Chicago Sky for the second time in three days.

Chicago held on for a shock 87-81 victory on Saturday, and my Lynx vs. Sky predictions expect Angel Reese to lead the charge against a potential Minnesota backlash here.

Read on for my WNBA picks and betting tips for Monday, July 14.

Lynx vs Sky predictions

My Lynx vs Sky best bet: Angel Reese Over 16.5 rebounds + assists (-110 at FanDuel)

The Chicago Sky may not be going anywhere fast at 7-13 through their first 20 games, but Angel Reese continues to show there’s a solid long-term foundation in the Windy City.

While Reese is still expanding her game, we already know what the base performance will look like each night. The shot may come and go, but she’s relentless on the glass and capable of chipping in when needed as a playmaker.

That logic leads me to the Over on this 16.5 rebounds + assists combo line. Reese is averaging a league-leading 12.8 RPG, but she’s dialed that up lately with 15+ boards in six of her past eight outings.

She’s also quietly logged 4+ assists in four of her last five games, helping to fill the creation void left by Courtney Vandersloot’s season-ending injury.

But her rebounding is unquestionably the ticket to this Over. She and Kamilla Cardoso will need to be sharp to contain Napheesa Collier in the paint, and this game could trend towards the defenses, just like we saw in a 14-14 fourth quarter in the teams’ weekend battle.

Reese fell just short of this 16.5 number in Saturday’s meeting, but she posted a 16-17-6 stat line against the Lynx earlier this month. Look for “Mebounds” aplenty at Wintrust Arena tonight.

Lynx vs Sky same-game parlay (SGP)

Angel Reese Over 16.5 rebounds + assists

Under 161.5

Courtney Williams Under 6.5 assists

A 161.5 total feels too high here, so I’ll gladly add the Under, which is 6-3 in the past nine matchups between these teams and 13-10 overall for the Lynx this year.

Courtney Williams served up a 13-8-8 line on Saturday, but this 6.5 assists O/U line is a touch above her season average. She’s fallen short of this number in four of her seven games this month, and a rock fight here could put a cap on her dimes count.
