Caitlin Clark vs. Paige Bueckers Part 2 is on hold, with Clark (groin) sidelined for a sixth straight game as the Indiana Fever face the Dallas Wings on Friday.

Still, our Fever vs. Wings predictions and WNBA picks expect another high-scoring affair between these teams on August 1.

Fever vs Wings predictions

My Fever vs Wings best bet: Over 173.5 (-114 at FanDuel)

Even though the Indiana Fever have had to play more than half their games without Caitlin Clark, they have stayed an offensive force, third in the WNBA in scoring at 85.2 points per game.

They hung a season-high 107 points on Phoenix last game, but in the win, they also surrendered a season-high in points at 101.

The Dallas Wings have just two wins in their last nine, but those were signature wins over both New York and Seattle, proving they can hang with anyone.

Offensively, Dallas is inside the top half of the league in scoring at 82.2 points per game, but its their porous Bottom 4 defense that’s led them to an 8-20 record, allowing 86.5 points per game.

These teams have split the first two games of the season series, but what’s notable is they’ve cashed the Over in seven straight meetings.

These haven’t been barely covers, either. The teams have combined for at least 180 points in all seven of those games.

That would crush this 173.5-point total with ease, and it's why we’re taking the Over.

Paige Bueckers pick: Paige pours in the points

My Paige Bueckers best bet: Over 17.5 points (+100 at FanDuel)

Even if Dallas doesn’t make the playoffs, this year has to be considered a success, because No. 1 pick Paige Bueckers is the real deal. She’s leading the team in scoring, assists, steals, and blocks.

Bueckers has led Dallas in scoring in four of the last six, going for at least 20 points in four of those. That includes a 21-point effort against these same Fever.

I think the 17.5 line is generous, and one that Bueckers should cross against Indiana.

Fever vs Wings same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 173.5

Paige Bueckers Over 17.5 points

Aliyah Boston Over 24.5 points + rebounds

Let’s add one more bet to this ticket to make a three-legged SGP.

Aliyah Boston is coming off her fourth straight double-double, dropping 22 points and 12 boards against the Mercury last time out. That’s her longest streak this year, and three of those performances topped the 24.5 total of points and rebounds.

Boston should again be prominent at American Airlines Center.
