The Dream have been struggling to score against the Aces. Combine that with A'ja Wilson staying hot, and the Aces are well-positioned tonight.

It’s a potential playoff preview when the Atlanta Dream visit the Las Vegas Aces.

The Aces have had no trouble dispatching the Dream lately, winning seven straight against Atlanta while going 4-2-1 against the spread. They’re 3.5-point favorites Tuesday night.

Vegas is the best bounce-back bet leaguewide, so my Dream vs Aces predictions and WNBA picks will roll with the home team on Aug 18.

Dream vs Aces prediction

Dream vs Aces best bet: Aces -3.5 (-110)

The Las Vegas Aces have won five straight at home against the Atlanta Dream, including four double-digit victories, while the Dream have failed to score 72 points in each of their last five trips to Sin City.

Atlanta leads the WNBA in paint and fast-break scoring, but Vegas has held its own in both categories during each meeting this season. That includes a +6 in paint points and just -4 in fast-break scoring.

Both squads are coming off losses, but the Aces are a WNBA-best 8-3-0 against the spread after a defeat, compared with Atlanta’s 5-7-0 mark.

I’d back the Aces up to -4.5.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Atlanta is one of the hottest teams in the WNBA, going 7-3-0 straight up, but the Dream have been far from the best bet against the spread, going 3-7-0 ATS over that same stretch.

Dream vs Aces same-game parlay

Angel Reese is coming off a 14-rebound effort in the loss to Indiana, and she’s gone eight straight games pulling down at least 10 rebounds.

Reese has posted double-digit boards in six of seven career games against Vegas, tallying at least 13 in four of her last five.

We must roll Jackie Young’s 1.5 3-pointers line into this SGP, because the Aces guard has crossed that mark in all nine games she's played since the All-Star break. That includes a 4-for-7 shooting night against Atlanta on Aug. 3 during a 109-87 romp.

Dream vs Aces SGP

  • Aces -3.5
  • Angel Reese Over 12.5 rebounds
  • Jackie Young Over 1.5 3-pointers

Dream vs Aces player prop pick

A'Ja Wilson Over 24.5 points (-118)

A’ja Wilson is coming off a 32-point outing last game vs. Minnesota, and she’s scored at least 25 in nine of her last dozen games.

Wilson has also tallied at least 20 points in her last 10 against Atlanta, busting through Tuesday’s 24.5 scoring line six times, and missing it by a bucket on two other occasions.
