The Alouettes have been rolling and look like Grey Cup contenders now that they're healthy. They beat the Redblacks 30-10 as 14.5-point faves on Monday and also beat them by 21 points when they previously clashed in Week 2. That's why it's strange to see a four point swing on the spread from last week. Especially with Ottawa forced to start third-string QB Tyrie Adams. Adams hasn't thrown a regular-season pass since suffering a torn ACL in his CFL debut in 2023. Now on a short week he has to prepare for a stingy Montreal defense that generates pressure and covers well. Adams will have a tough time getting into a rhythm early so back the Als on the first half spread.
