Golden State @ Chicago picks

The Valkyries have one of the better defenses in the WNBA, but they do allow a ton of threes. They rank 11th in made threes allowed and last in 3-point attempts allowed. Banham has attempted at least eight threes in each of her last three games and shoots 38.9% from deep on the season. 

While the Chicago Sky are far less imposing on the glass without Angel Reese, who won’t feature due to a back injury, Kamilla Cardoso remains a formidable presence around the rim, and only the Dallas Wings average more offensive rebounds per game than the Sky. I’ve got my doubts about Janelle Salaün’s scoring, too. She’s finished with fewer than 10 points in each of her past three contests, and she’s also been in a slump from downtown, shooting just 8-for-39 on 3-pointers this month. This line just feels too high.
