New York @ Indiana picks

Breanna Stweart banked in 16 points in their last meeting against the Indiana Fever. And that just won't cut it today especially if Jonquel Jones isn't able to play at the level she's known for. In what was nearly their first loss of the season, Stewie and Sabrina Ionescu combined for 39% shooting from the field. Not ideal for the one-two punch. Stewie also missed every three-point attempt made in that matchup. Given Stewie's experience, we know that that performance looms in her head enough to come with the heat in round two against Indiana. If the Liberty want to stay flawless in terms of what their record gives, bet on her to have a well-rounded game with efficiency to go for the Over on her points prop.

Caitlin Clark went for 18 points on 6-for-18 shooting. Not too shabby, but if the Indiana Fever want to actually knock off the New York Liberty this time then Clark will have to kick it into another gear. This being her first game back, Clark's health will be on display to see if she's actually back to 100%. Given the extra game that she was sidelined for and the possible return of Sophie Cunningham as well, Clark is in prime position to get her lick back with a huge "I'm back!" performance to give to the league. And no better way to do that than handing New York their first loss of the season and going off on the Over for a 20+ point showing.

Ionescu's gone past this line in four of her past five outings, and this pick offers nice flexibility when Sabrina is capable of hitting the Over number in points alone. Ionescu has just done that in three of her last five contests. Ionescu has also dished seven dimes in back-to-back games.
