Allisha Gray has been a consistent offensive contributor for the Atlanta Dream, leading her team at 20.4 points per game — ranking sixth in the league. Her scoring ability, combined with her proficiency from beyond the arc, makes her a key player to watch. So far this season, Gray is averaging 2.4 made three-pointers per game on a 42.3% shooting percentage from deep. With the Chicago Sky struggling to defend the three, Gray can have increased opportunities to capitalize on her three-point shooting prowess to pass the 20-point threshold tonight.

Allisha Gray is one of the leading scorers in the WNBA so far this year, averaging 20.4 ppg. And while that’s a career high for Gray, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the Atlanta Dream star is set for regression. Gray is shooting the ball at a 50.4% clip so far this year, while also taking the highest volume of shots she’s ever taken in her career. She’s also shooting the ball more frequently and better from three-point range, hitting 42.3% of her attempts from deep. This looks like a dream matchup (no pun intended) for Gray, and it comes right as she’s playing some of the best basketball of her career. With a total set at 17.5 points – a number she has hit in five of her last six games – I’m confident in taking the Over.

There’s perhaps no player more polarizing in the WNBA today than Angel Reese. The second-year Chicago Sky forward leads the league in rebounding, pulling in 12.1 boards per game. But she’s shooting just 35.8% from the floor – down significantly from an already low 39.1% clip in her rookie year – exasperating criticism of her scoring ability. That’s not all on Reese, who is asked to do a lot of heavy lifting for a Sky team that ranks second to last in scoring (76.0 ppg) and dead last in points allowed per game. There aren’t many good matchups for Chicago, but Atlanta is still one of the toughest teams for Reese and the Sky to find success against, particularly when it comes to stuffing the stat sheet.
