California Baptist @ Eastern Washington Picks & Props

Trap line alert. Cal Baptist may be 7-3, but they've dropped three straight games. Eastern Washington rates out better on both ends of the court, and both of their wins have come at home. I'll bank on the offense keeping them in this game throughout. 

EWU is 1-7 against Div 1 foes with the only victory coming against Kansas City who is No. 345 in the KenPom rankings. Cal Baptist entered this season as the favorites to win the WAC and began their year with seven-straight wins, including five victories by double digits. The Lancers have lost three in a row since but all of those defeats came on the road against quality high-major teams in BYU, Colorado, and Utah. Playing three-straight games at 5,000 feet of elevation will have them prepared for this contest at 2,500 feet. The Lancers are 18th in the country with +6.5 extra scoring chances per game while EWU is outside the Top 250 with -2.5. They'll turn those extra chances into points and cover.
