We successfully faded Quinn Priester in his last start, and we will do so again here today vs. the Astros. Priester has been hit hard of late, giving up 18 hits and 14 runs across just 13 1/3 innings of work. While the Astros' offense isn't exactly hitting the cover off the baseball, they should have no issues doing enough to get the win for Framber Valdez, who has been relatively unlucky if you look at his W/L column.

Brewers SP Quinn Priester owns a 1-0 record and 5.79 ERA this season, striking out 17 with 16 walks in just 23 1/2 innings of work. During that span, he’s also allowed 15 earned runs and 25 hits. Houston's offense hasn't been its usual world-beating self following some key offseason departures and Yordan Alvarez's struggles and subsequent injury. But the Astros still don't strike out often and will do some damage against Priester, who simply does not miss bats.
