The Twins are sending Chris Paddack to the hill today. The veteran has a 9.49 ERA with an expected slugging percentage of .488 through three starts and he pitched to a 4.99 ERA across 88 1/3 innings in 2024. That's the perfect opportunity for Braves first baseman to break out of his slump. The two-time All-Star is slashing just .203/.338/.344 this season but the Statcast analytics indicate that he's due for major positive regression.Olson is in the top fifth percent in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate while sitting in the top 10th percentile in barrel rate. His expected slugging percentage is an impressive .593 and he'll have the platoon advantage against Paddack.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
