Manchester United will look for a win that could move them closer to the Top 4 of the Premier League when they visit Wolves at Molineux on Monday.

The Red Devils have a chance to leapfrog multiple clubs in the table and possibly into a tie with Chelsea when they take on a Wolves side that sits bottom of the table.

My Wolves vs Man United predictions and betting picks expect Man U to bring the pressure on Monday, December 8.

Premier League predictions for Wolves vs Man United

My Wolves vs Man United best bet: Man United Over 5.5 corners (+105 at Sports Interaction)

How bad are Wolves? They haven’t scored a goal in the Premier League against a non-promoted club since October 1, when they secured a 1-1 draw with Brighton.

Their 4-3 defeat to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on October 29 is the last time they scored at all, having gone five straight without a tally.

They’ve been shut out in nine of their 17 matches in all competitions, and have conceded 17 goals in seven home fixtures while scoring just six of their own.

But new manager Rob Edwards has cleaned things up a bit defensively, as he’s seen his side limit Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest to a single goal each.

Edwards has changed the side to play in a 3-4-2-1 that becomes a 5-4-1 out of possession. It's helped them set up an even lower block than before, leading teams to hammer away and look for a way through.

It’s also why Wolves sit fourth in corners conceded this season. While Manchester United have taken the sixth-fewest corners, this is a match where they should have an elevated amount.

Last week against West Ham, who set up similarly, Man United had six corners. They had nine against Everton and seven against Burnley. Their only away match against a low-block side saw them take six corners against Fulham.

With Joao Gomes suspended, Wolves will need to be even more compact. Getting to six corners here shouldn’t be difficult against a Wolves side that have conceded at least that many corners in four of their last five matches — including 27 in their last three at Molineux.

Wolves vs Man United same-game parlay (SGP)

Man United Over 5.5 corners

Matheus Cunga 2+ shots

First half Under 0.5

Matheus Cunha is facing his former side, and he’s been quite active for Man United, often coming out firing. He’s averaging nearly three shots per 90 minutes, and we’ll look for him to get at least two against his old club.

The Red Devils have gone three matches without a first-half goal, and Wolves have not seen a goal scored in the opening 45 minutes in their last four matches. This feels like the setup for another sleepy first half, with neither side finding the back of the net until after halftime.
