Real Madrid vs. Juventus predictions take center stage as the two European giants clash this afternoon at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with a coveted spot in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals on the line.

This matchup promises fireworks with elite attacking talent on both rosters, and my FIFA Club World Cup free picks are banking on both teams lighting up the scoreboard.

Here’s how I see it playing out on Tuesday, July 1.

Real Madrid vs Juventus picks and predictions

My Real Madrid vs Juventus best bet: Over 2.5 goals and BTTS Yes (+110 at bet365)

In their three matches in the group stage, Real Madrid managed just one clean sheet. It came in the finale against Salzburg, who failed to score in either of their last two matches of the competition.

The concerning part of that is that Real Madrid didn’t play particularly dangerous competition in attack. Al Hilal drew 1-1 in the opener with them, and managed just three goals in the group stage. More concerning, Pachuca found the back of the net against them with only two goals themselves in the group stage.

On a positive note, Real Madrid are about to face a Juventus team that managed just one clean sheet themselves. More worrisome, they just shipped five goals to Manchester City in an utterly one-sided match, given the blue side of Manchester out-shot the Old Lady by a 24-5 margin.

Juventus will possess the most dangerous attack Real Madrid have yet faced in this tournament. Kenan Yildiz is in red-hot form, assisting a goal off the bench against Man City to give him four goal contributions so far in the competition. Real Madrid are still dealing with major injury concerns in defense that carried over from their recent campaign.

Real Madrid’s front line is almost as dangerous as what Man City threw at Juve. Jude Bellingham and Fede Valverde are offering outstanding support from the midfield, and Vinicius Jr. got on the board with a goal and assist against Salzburg. And they have this guy named Kylian Mbappe, who has returned to training and could make a cameo off the bench should the need arise.

Neither defense is performing that well, and numerous weapons in attack can punish them at any time. That makes plus-odds for both teams scoring with at least three goals in regulation a must-play here.

Real Madrid vs Juventus same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 2.5 goals and BTTS

Kenan Yildiz to score or assist

Michele di Gregorio 4+ saves

If this same-game parlay looks familiar to you, don’t worry—it sort of is. That’s because we’re going back to Yildiz and Michele di Gregorio for our SPG, just like we did against City.

And not just because they came through, but because their odds are still too good right now. Di Gregorio made a whopping seven saves against Man City, even more staggering when you realize he allowed five shots to get past. He’s made five or more saves in all three matches, and we’ll take him to get 4+ here.

Yildiz came into the match for Juventus on 57 minutes, and still managed to get involved. It was his pass that set free Dusan Vlahovic to give the Old Lady a consolation goal six minutes from the end of regulation.

In his short time on the pitch, Yildiz managed two shots and had 16 touches. Two of those resulted in passes into the final third, and one led to the assist. Until someone stops him, I’m banking on him to once again punish every defense he faces.
