A huge Premier League Sunday battle between Liverpool and Manchester City (43%) is compounded by City being found guilty of over 100 breaches of the league’s financial rules.

My Liverpool vs. Manchester City predictions are taking Enzo Maresca’s team to win, as that atmosphere will help push City, while the team is aided by Liverpool’s litany of injuries.

Read on for my Premier League free picks for Sunday, Oct. 11 with kickoff at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBC.

Liverpool vs Manchester City predictions

My Liverpool vs Manchester City top pick: Man City to win (43% probability)

City have been defiant following the guilty verdict that was announced since their last Premier League game, and the club is developing a siege mentality, both on and off the field.

That adversity will unify Maresca’s men ahead of this, giving them a huge advantage. It also helps that Erling Haaland is set to be fit enough to play, while Liverpool are set to miss Cody Gakpo.

The speed and trickery of the trio behind Haaland — Iliman Ndiaye, Rayan Cherki, and Jeremy Doku — can punish a Liverpool team who push their fullbacks high in attack, and have the speed to get at Alexis Mac Allister, who isn’t the most mobile central midfield player.

My Liverpool vs Manchester City Over/Under pick: Over 2.5 goals (62% probability)

Haaland has five in five for his club, and scored three times during this international break. Even without him, there are goals all over this team, with six players having all registered a Premier League tally this season.

City’s attacking threat is clear to see but Liverpool still have goals in them, despite Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike missing.

Alexander Isak is set to play, pending a fitness test, and Bradley Barcola’s speed on the left wing will test Matheus Nunes, who isn’t a natural right back, especially when Ndiaye isn’t the best at doing his defensive work and protecting his fullback.
