It's a proper Premier League Super Sunday as Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield.
Unusually for both clubs, neither sits at the top of the table, but a win here could help, especially for Manchester City.
This doesn't feel like a vintage Pep Guardiola Manchester City side, but one habit has remained constant: they start games fast.
Liverpool, by contrast, has often taken time to settle, which is why my Liverpool vs. Manchester City predictions are backing City to lead at the interval.

Premier League predictions for Liverpool vs Man City
My Liverpool vs Man City best bet: Man City to be leading at halftime (+200 at Sports Interaction)
Just eight points separate these two giants, but they've had conflicting seasons. Liverpool has managed to score in the first 45 minutes just 13 times.
Scoring just 33% of their total goals in the first half is rare among Premier League teams. On the flip side, Man City have scored the majority of their goals in the first half, with 27 in the opening 45 minutes.
City has the second-best defensive record in the league with 23 goals conceded, although they've been incredibly tight in the first half, allowing just six goals in 24 first halves. City have been winning at halftime in 16 of 24 games, while Liverpool have been losing in 33% of their games when the halftime whistle blows.
While the Etihad is rightly viewed as a fortress, City have been just as ruthless away from home in the opening stages of matches. They've led at halftime in seven of their 12 road games — more than any other team — and have trailed at the break just once.
What really stands out is their defensive control early on, conceding only two first-half goals across those 12 away fixtures. In terms of xG, just three or four goals separate Liverpool and City, although in reality, that's actually 10.
Liverpool just aren't starting games quickly and certainly nowhere near City, who are statistically the best starters in the Premier League.

Liverpool vs Man City same-game parlay (SGP)
Erling Haaland leads the Premier League goalscoring charts with 20 in 24 games.
Tijjani Reijnders is likely to start this week, and it's worth backing the Dutchman to commit a foul. He's averaging 1.07 fouls committed per 90 minutes, and given the quality in the Liverpool midfield, that should land here.
