Colombia vs Canada picks and predictions
My Colombia vs Canada best bet: Colombia moneyline (-115 at Sports Interaction)
I expected a low-scoring game when Canada hosted Australia on Friday, but I did not expect a labored performance from the Canadians altogether.
They were second best for much of the first half, and while they increased the tempo late, they were undone by a Nestory Irankunde strike.
Now, the competition gets tougher, as Colombia finished their South American World Cup qualifying campaign in third, ahead of the likes of Uruguay and Brazil.
This Colombian side is lethal in attack, boasting the second-best attack rate (28 goals in 18 matches), behind only Argentina. With the plethora of injuries Canada is dealing with across the pitch, I see the Colombians being too strong.
At -115 on the moneyline, I think we are getting tremendous value.
Colombia vs Canada same-game parlay (SGP)
In addition to taking Colombia on the moneyline, they've only kept three clean sheets across their last nine games. However, they've been on fire up front, netting 13 goals across their last three games.
This has Colombia 3-1 written all over it.
