Manchester City mustn't go back home empty-handed after Sunday's clash with Arsenal if they want anything to do with the title race this season. City are already nine points behind Liverpool, who are enjoying a perfect start to their Premier League campaign.

Both Arsenal and Man City are under pressure to deliver, but my Arsenal vs. Man City predictions see the latter as better positioned to get a win as the rivals meet at Emirates Stadium in North London.

Here are my free betting picks for Sunday, September 21.

Premier League predictions for Arsenal vs Man City

My Arsenal vs Man City best bet: Man City moneyline (+290 at Sports Interaction)

Arsenal sit ninth in the Premier League table, with Manchester City 11th.

City surprisingly lost two games in a row in front of inferior opposition, only to bounce back with solid wins over Man United in EPL action and Napoli in the Champions League.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have won all of their games since the season started, except vs. Liverpool.

But it's not just a meet-up between straight numbers here. Manchester City have lost both of their last two Premier League trips to Arsenal. That's as many as they did in their previous 14 games. Now Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was Pep Guardiola's number two before deciding to work on his own, so this encounter is even more special.

If City's current run of four winless matches against Arsenal goes up to five, it would be a record with Pep Guardiola at the helm.

With a revamped squad and a wish to retake the Premier League crown, I'm backing City to win against Arsenal. Even though City are the underdogs, I believe Arsenal will find it hard to contain Guardiola's lot.

Arsenal vs Man City same-game parlay (SGP)

Man City to win

Erling Haaland anytime goal

Over 10.5 corners

Erling Haaland scored four goals in six Premier League appearances against Arsenal. He has 19 goals in 20 league games while representing City in games played in London. Among players to play more than 1,000 minutes in London, the Norwegian has the best minutes per goal ratio, scoring once every 93 minutes.

He's on fire since the start of the campaign as well, netting six times in five games for City. In the Manchester Derby against United last week, he recorded a double. I will not omit this guy from my parlay.

Arsenal delivered 22 corners in 4 games, with City on 17. Set-pieces will play a key role in this game, so I'll include corners in my SGP to get a nice return of +1150.
