Cleveland St -2 @ Detroit. The Vikes coming off a tough loss to Butler Sat. CSU gave up an un-viking like 50% from the floor & Norris Cole played his worst game the year. Vikings match up well with Detroit and handled them easily in their last matchup. Look for much the same tonight. The D has slipped away from Detroit the last couple weeks giving up +72 PPG. CSU outside that fluke Sat has been on a roll. Like the under too but just playing the Vikes -2.
Manhattan +18 @ Iona. Manhattan is on a nice run on this road trip. They have covered their last 4 on the road and darn near pulled upsets over superior squads in Fairfield, Siena & Fl Int. Jaspers have discovered defense in this road trip & have held their own on the glass. Manhattan is typically a solid 75% from the FT but the last 5 are shooting just 58%. I do NOT look for this to continue. They are a good FT shooting team and I think it comes back tonight. Like the Jaspers to hang in between 10-13 tonight. Iona returns home after a tough road trip of their own and they are better at home but just think Manhattan is the hotter team and doing some things well and its a good spot.
Pitt +1 vs West Virg Alot of folks counting Pit out going into a hostil setting in a rivalry game without Gibbs but I disagree. The advantages Pit has they still have - Gibbs and thats the ability to crush on the glass and create several more shots for themselves. Rebounding margin is wide. WV will have their hands full on the glass. Pitts advantage on the glass and the bench get it done here. No Gibbs but watch this Woodall kid, he's pretty good.
