I think parlaying favorites is every bit as valid a technique for winning at tennis sports bets as betting on faves (though obviously the best gambler does both) but I agree it is not that easy. To me the key is to only pick players that I am 95% or better sure will win... avoiding the temptation to add more because "a -1600 can't lose!" or add what I consider to be "risky superfavorites" like Jankovic just because they will probably win.
Playing dogs you can miss left and right and still make profit by hitting that once-in-a-blue-moon huge dog and a few smaller ones along the way, still losing well over 50% of the time. Parlaying favorites you basically have to be perfect. And even if the odds give you a chance to accomplish that, perfection is never easy!

To OP: She was -1600 on my site. I know almost nothing about her so did not add her to my parlay. Checked out the match at the end out of curiosity (I probably would have added her a year ago!) only to watch her lose the 3rd set 6-4 on her own serve, with a double fault to set up match point. Pretty bad. Either a huge choke or a sly way to throw the match... I figure if my moderate fan self has not heard much about you then you are not very rich and thus more prone to throwing a match in the first place anyway--not that I am saying that is what she did.
