Okay, so anybody that read my other post about getting orange circled last week, here's the to be continued part two edition of my endless soap opera with Bovada.

I had 2100 left over in my account after Championship Monday.  As many read in my first post, yes I am a frequenter of Bookmaker, but cannot deposit while I'm out here at work with them so it's either 5Dimes or Bovada.

I've had issues with 5Dimes and it goes way beyond Tony.  I just don't trust them, and despite the bad lines from Bovada, I feel they treat you pretty good over there.  Very good customer service.

I put two 500 4 team parlays out on Tuesday night consisting of Butler and Tulsa (both parlays) and then a mixture of Kentucky, PSU, Miss St and VCU.  Both plays hit.  12,000 in my account.  As of last night I am at 14,000 in the account.

Today I get a message that my account had been disabled.  I called Bovada customer service and they explained that this was due to the VPN being out of state and that my identity needed to be verified.  You see I work in Ohio.  I live in western PA.  The company I work for has a satellite dish we use to access the internet which connects through Alaska and pings to us.  (This is what happens when you work in the middle of nowhere.)

The most disturbing part of this phone call was when I was told, "we will make note that you will be working in Ohio for two weeks, and then will be back home in PA for two weeks, but I cannot guarantee that your account won't be disabled again.  And it could happen permanently."

This news come to me after five of my bets last night were altered.  And how were they altered?  I'll show you......

    I bet 2200 on Washington -7.

The bookmaker reviewed the bet and then sent me a compromisebet that I had 30 seconds to accept or reject.  It was to take Washington at -8.5 (-115) juice.  For the same amount of 2200.

The day before I wanted Creighton at -5 in 2nd half for 2000.

Compromise bet: Creighton -6 (-115) juice same amount.

Look I like Bovada's customer service.  Up until now, the orange circled games, the compromise bets, and the account being temporarily disabled, I'm really just at a lost for words.

I don't want to bad mouth an account I've been using for years, but in the same sense, what is going here?  Where has the integrity gone?  Will I even see this money?  It's been three days already since I put my initial payout request in and it's still "Pending."

As terrible as Tony's reputation at 5Dimes, Owner Calvin Ayre of Bovada may be even worse.  Like choosing between death by Snake or Rat bites.

I'm in similar situation. I'm trying to get my money out and close my account. Bovada is horrible, I have no idea how they are still around. I get the same run around garbage with the limited wagering and the compromising bullshit. They never offer different lines they just limit me to a lower amount.

My payout is delayed because they can only do so many rapid transfer payouts a day. This is going to be a long hassle to get my money out.

The only reason I have an account there is because my credit card works with them.

Get your money out of there immediately as your papers are marked and you are screwed. You will NEVER EVER again get the line you want with Bovada. They have you on delay and they will always move the line against you either by moving the point spread, or juicing the crap out of you.

Im with TheGoldenGoose. I would choose 5Dimes over most books and I would choose 99% of books on the planet over any book associated with the scumbag known as Calvin Ayre.

They do juice the crap out of games to where you can't play them. They have Green Bay +7.5 but -125.

I am more paranoid about the money right now.  I can play elsewhere.

For one, I had no idea I'd really hit two parlays like that.  Two, I just don't get it.  Bovada has an A rating at SBR, most stand by their swift payout system.  I mean the juicing of their games and the orange circles and the red circles and the bet compromising- I get that.

But man, just give me the confidence that I'm going to see at least 75% of the winnings.  I know Bookmaker paid close to this much for me.  And it only took me four separate times to do it in a span of 2 weeks.  I'm just not seeing that timing with Bovada.

SBR ratings mean nothing.  Really, they don't.  Just ZERO.  Do you remember what happened with BetIslands Sportsbook?  SBR kept reassuring everybody that BetIslands was a solid B rating.  Down the toilet and a lot of players got hurt, including me.

Ya I remember BetIslands.  I highly doubt financial security and the lack of an investment backer is halting my payday.

    I didn't win 14 million.

And what did you expect from a small time book in over its head like BI?  They gave same day payouts, they catered wayy too much to American players and they had limited financial options from jump.

But I do agree about SBR for the most part.  Whoever lines their pockets the most gets the best grade.  That's life in a can right there.

Yeah, I'm just saying... Calvin Ayre throws all this advertising and promotional money at websites like SBR.  Let's not pull punches here... he is BUYING them.  If he spent HALF that money on customer relations and customer service we would not be having this discussion.

SBR is a Whoore for John's like Calvin Ayre. Sorry but that is the bottom line.

Covers ratings don't mean a hell of a lot either. There were a couple of books rated A on this site that went under a couple of years ago from memory. You throw enough advertising dollars at sites like this and SBR and you can buy a great rating.

I will never deal with anything Calvin Ayre related out of principle. Any book that offers " dual lines " are the lowest of the low and that is what he did at Bodog for years.

You have every right to worry about whether you collect your money and that sounds just like the old Bodog days.

More importantly for you though, surely you now know that you will NEVER get a bet at the number that you want with Bovada? You are now on delay and they will add a minimum of half a point and 5 cents to every line that you want to play.

Once you get your cash then close your acct as you are dead at Bovada.

Jeeze oh man you act like I put my money into a BetED ponzi scheme.

Guy I'm worried about all of my money, but I'm not ready to punt on 1st and 10.  Holy shitt.  I get you're down on Bovada; and dual lines, orange/red games and compromising spreads are bullying tactics no doubt, but you're acting like Bovada shut down yesterday and the I may get a chair for half off at the fire sale in the executive office.

    My goodness.

All I am saying is that your acct has been marked and you will never get the price you wanted again. If you want to keep laying a point worse and paying an extra 5 or 10 cents for the privilege of being bent over by Bovada then go right ahead. No skin off my nose.

Ohh you dope you read what you want to read.

I am blatantly against the way they run their compromise betting system.  I never said, "gee, I sure love the way I get to take Kentucky -58.5 (-155) over Florida."

I AM TALKING ABOUT GETTING MY MONEY FROM THEM!!!!!!

You are talking like I was ponzi schemed.  As if there is no chance I'll see a green bill.  And I am saying that I just can't see them giving me a complete runaround, but in the same sense I am very nervous about it due to the amount of money.

If you get your money from them go to a top rated book like Betdsi or Bookmaker. They are the 2 best in the business and I have never had a problem with them and have had larger amount than 14k in both. GL

Juicing the lines is bunch of horsecrap.  In the old days they just moved the line didn't they?  I mean paying extra because you would like to take Green Bay getting the points in my opinion is bad business.  But I know all these books do this crap now.  I really do miss the old days in regards to alot of things.

Bookmaker is my #1 book, period.  Always has been, always will be.  BUT I work in the middle of nowhere feeding off a satellite for my only internet source.  BMaker only allows WU or MG transactions.  Unfortunately the closest MG location to me is a half hour away, and I am NOT allowed to leave this location for two weeks.  And WU had banned me years ago so I can't use that online service.

So when in a bind, the only option I have is Bovada due to the credit card option.  And yes, I know 5Dimes allows CC as well, but I have my own personal issues with management there, and I don't want to go back there.

So....rock and hard place.  Main concern right now is my money.  But secondary is to keep people notified of the shady, off beat things Bovada does i.e. compromising bets, juice overloading, orange/red circled games, etc.

And to also give a day-by-day progress of trying to retrieve a payout of over 10K from the book.

So this is day three of my initial payout request for the first $2500.  It is still pending this morning.

How do you have 3 payouts pending? I have 1 pending and I can't ask for another one?

I'm also now getting the adjusted lines now. Example I want x dollars on Cavs +8 and they come back and suggest Cavs +7.5

    what the darn

You bet with a book that within the industry has ALWAYS been known as crappy and more fluff than substance and when you win you have serious doubts about getting paid, and I am the dope?

Bookmaker allows CC or debit card deposits up to 1500 as does Diamond. Not sue how much you play per bet but you can also wire them money for bigger amount.

Ya you are a dope.  A dope only reads what he wants to read and posts back nonsense that helps nothing in the grand scheme of the post.  Talk to Detox, he's great at that.

If you read this entire thread, I had never figured to really hit two 4-team parlays like that.  One sure, but not both on top of another 1200 in the account already.

So yes, now that that had happened, I am nervous because I have never had this much money in a Bovada betting account before, as I imagine anybody would be.

I'm not betting anything else through Bovada.  I'm not in here complaining about getting shafted on the fixed lines because I know better than to continue with single plays after a parlay hit like that.

But I'd like to continue to post the progress of the payout process on Covers to share with other bettors.

    You dope.

They haven't allowed me to deposit via CC since I switched banks years ago.  I call the staff every once in a while and they continuously tell me the CC process has been disabled my account for my own security reasons.

I am allowed bank deposits though as ridiculous as that sounds with the whole CC thing.  I've never considered that though seeing that I never really deposited more than 1100 into an account at one time.

I go back home Wed so I can hold off a few days and I'll be back to MoneyGram wiring.  Like I say over and over again, I'm not betting anymore games through Bovada.  We'll see what happens.  Updating will continue on that front.

I go back home Wed so I can hold off a few days and I'll be back to MoneyGram wiring.  Like I say over and over again, I'm not betting anymore games through Bovada.  We'll see what happens.  Updating will continue on that front.

    Okay, I'm the dope now.

My Bovada account has officially been disabled for the last time due to me accessing the account from outside of VPN.

I used my phone this time, accessing the 4G, which I was told should be okay, but alas....14K.  My winnings.  Gonezo.

Chalk it up.  Here is the lesson learned.  If any of you people use Bovada.lv as your book, you are an assshole who deserves to never see money again.

    So let's review:

They will not pay you if you reach 10K or higher.

They force you to make "compromise bets" when you win too much.  A compromise bet is when they "suggest" a new spread to you.  For instance, Creighton +6 (-115) 2H was a game I wanted last week.  They'll suggest you bet it at Creighton +5 (-115).  If you reject, sorry, you don't get to bet this game.

They sometimes won't allow you to bet a game period.

They hit you with not only their 15% fee when depositing, but also a POS charge from your bank that usually rounds out to about 15-20 a transaction.

Oh, and it had been 5 business days and I had yet to get ONE DAMN PAYOUT GRANTED.

So ya, I'm going to go put my head through a glass window and hope one of the shards gets a vein.

Let the I told ya so's begin........
