Thoughts please Texas A&M vs LA Tech

I havent saw any threads about this game or really anyone even talking about it nationally. The line is Texas A&M -7 and its played in Shreveport LA. Im personally thinking of going big on A&M but i would like some thoughts on the game.

I'll probably pass. I think there are alot better plays out there, and maybe i can get a feel for A&M after this game because most of my plays come from the SEC

LT catching the Aggs in transition.....to a new offense AND defense....the SEC WEST looming doesn't help
    * Aggs (most) no doubt.....will still be THINKING.....which limits their athletic edge....
 
LT in the 3rd year of Dykes/Franklin's offensive system....and their 4-2-5 D matches up well vs Sumlin's spread attack......so they'll be ready and polished......LT's pass D ranked 12th in Steele's pass efficiency D rankings

*Steele ranks LT as the 48th best team (about as good as Vandy...Iowa...or Pitt).....Aggies are  #31

*LT is closer to Shreveport.....but Aggs should have crowd edge
      *LT has practiced there already...so a minimal edge for turf nuances +++

*Sumlin's teams usually have been poor as a road favorite.....as many of you know (6-12 ATS.....2-2 N)

*LT also has the nation's best punter in Ryan Allen

*LT offensive coordinator Tony Franklin (recall his weird departure from Auburn?).....got his start at Kentucky under Leach and Hal Mumme.....(Dykes was there too)....and took over in 2000 or so as OC when Leach left for OU.....LT DC Spangler is a holdover form Dooley's staff...and has done a great job

$$$  Looks like a high scoring game as mentioned...side wise I would lean La Tech...but since we have NO IDEA how Aggs will play....probably leave it as a lean only....no surprise if they get their ass kicked....but I would expect a close Aggie win

 Great info as usual bookie. 

 I truly feel that the Aggies transition on the defensive side will be MUCH more difficult than their acclamation to Kingsbury's new offensive system (which would be great makings for an "over").  The "Air Raid" is very easy to install as it has few formations, very little motion, and is designed to be fully functional after only three days. Saturday's scrimmage would seem to bear that out as A&M soph QB Jameill Showers went 16-24 for 80 yds. and 1 td and was third best, as fellow soph QB Matt Joeckel went 11-19 for 100 yds. with 3 tds, and (r) freshman QB Johnny Manziel threw for more than 200 yards completing 18-22 also with 3 tds. And that was without Ryan Swope or the top two TEs playing.

I very rarely play totals but have been monitoring this matchup since it was announced for a possible over play. I've seen nothing to make me backoff of it yet. I'm also leaning strongly towards the Bulldogs + 7.

Aggie here, so flame away, but I made this -14.5, and think the Aggies should be in control from start to finish.  Sure, LA Tech is going to get some points (More on that Over later) but LA Tech is going to get owned by the Aggie Offense.  Aggies have one of the top 3 O Lines in the Nation and three 5* backs.  A slow transition into the passing game shouldn't mean trouble vs. this team.
